Have an app idea, a design, or a prototype that needs to become a working product? I’m Sean Ward, founder of YochaAI and your fractional founding engineer. I help East Tennessee founders plan, build, and improve mobile apps and web products.
Based in Friendsville, Tennessee. You work directly with me on the technical decisions and the business behind them.
Designs, code, customer feedback, and the risks worth resolving first.

A TECHNICAL PARTNER FOR YOUR NEXT STAGE
Your idea deserves a clear way forward.
You don’t need every technical answer before the first conversation. Bring the problem, what you’ve already tried, and the constraints you’re working within.
01 / APP IDEAS & PROTOTYPES
Make the first build count.
Review an existing design or codebase, choose the core user journey, and define what needs to be built before asking people to try it. Architecture planning helps connect scope, integrations, and your available budget.
Address unreliable features, confusing onboarding, and technical debt that slows the next release. Product hardening and a focused audit can help identify what deserves attention first.
Get founder-led technical planning and hands-on delivery through a paid engagement. Sean leads the work and brings in a small, vetted engineering team when your project needs more capacity.
These projects show mobile product development, focused work within an existing app, and an internal operations tool. Each case study explains YochaAI’s role.
NSP Soccer training platform
A cross-platform mobile app with training, gamification, nutrition tracking, and coach workflows. An example of turning a product vision into software people can use repeatedly.
Outage maps and reporting workflows delivered as part of Knoxville Utilities Board’s React Native migration initiative. Focused engineering within an existing product.
Call transcripts, AI summaries, audio playback, and secure sign-in, delivered in collaboration with Versalytix. A practical internal tool for an operations team.

Where is YochaAI based, and which local areas do you serve?+
YochaAI is based in Friendsville, Tennessee, in Blount County. Sean Ward works with founders and businesses in Maryville, Alcoa, Knoxville, and the wider East Tennessee region, as well as remotely across the US and internationally. Projects begin with a scheduled conversation.
Can you work from my design or existing prototype?+
Yes. Bring your clickable design, early codebase, or product idea. We review what already exists, identify technical risks, and choose the first useful customer journey to build. A prototype review and architecture plan can be the starting point before committing to a larger build.
Do I need a technical co-founder before building my app?+
A technical co-founder can be valuable for long-term ownership and leadership. You can also engage Sean as a paid fractional founding engineer for technical planning and hands-on delivery while you evaluate that decision. A services engagement does not itself make Sean an equity co-founder; any ownership arrangement would require a separate discussion and agreement.
How much does it cost to build an MVP?+
The cost depends on the core user journey, platforms, integrations, existing code, and the work needed to make the product reliable. Bring your budget and prototype to the initial call. We can define a focused scope and discuss the tradeoffs before proposing work, rather than assume every app needs the same build.
Do you build mobile apps, web apps, and business websites?+
Yes. YochaAI builds mobile apps and web products, improves existing software, and develops business websites, internal tools, and workflow automation. AI integration is available when it serves a useful purpose. Sean personally leads strategy, architecture, and delivery, with a small vetted team when the scope calls for it.
